MJF is not only an insufferable prick, he thinks all of this is bullshit and is just here as a publicity stunt to try and repair his public image. Punk is depending on this season to be a hit to save his job after an almost career-ending scandal. In a clash of staggering egos, they struggle over control of the show, digging up each other's skeletons, and seeing who's the real cynic when it comes to finding true love.
  • Notes: Top ten fics that understand the way in which Punk is a bad person. Stayed up hella late reading this one and I'll do it again. Definitely mind the tags, it's pretty heavy at times, but incredibly gripping! Who would have thought a dating show au could be so fucking amazing.

For the first time in his life, he goes to therapy and finds himself sitting across an older man with inked skin and tired eyes. It's here that some of the worst parts of himself start to dig their way through. Or, five times Max sees his therapist and the one time he really sees him.
  • Notes: This is part one of a 2-part series where Punk is a therapist and Max is an office worker. It's so good and I absolutely adore how dysfunctional they are. But like, heavy on the dysfuntional and heavy on the psychiatric malpractice so, again, be warned.

  • Notes: The second part to the one above! This one is even heavier on the dysfunction, if you can believe it. It also involves Max Caster, who I've not explained at all in this shrine (mainly cause I don't know him) but just don't worry about it. He's really obsessed with MJF, that's all you really need to know for this one. Mind the violence tag.

  • Notes: Guys. This is some freak shit. And it's not even all shit that I'm into but the concept is just so compelling that I can't not love it. But like yeah this is like crazy porn with also crazy time loop slash time travel shit so be extremely warned. Also, Piper is Max's cat.
