Anonymous is Online...

Anonymous is Online (AnOnline for short) is the radio show that I host on WRGW! It's currently running on it's second semester (Fall 2025) after debuting in Spring 2025! The show focuses on electronic-influenced music, for the most part, as well as looking at how the internet affects music. It currently airs for an hour every Saturday from 11pm to 12am (though, for its first semester it was 12am-1am), so tune in! This is an archive of the playlists that I've made for the show in reverse chronological order (meaning, the one at the top is the most recent one). I've linked all the songs, and tried to use non-Spotify links when possible so the songs are accessible. The episode hyperlinks lead to recordings of the episodes in question.

Episode 13: Synthwave

9/27/25. This episode focused on more of a dreamy, synth-y, computer-y vibe. Not all strictly synthwave, but I don't know what genre to call this.

Episode 12: Comeback

9/20/25. First episode of AnOnline's second semester! Not a strict theme, this playlist was just "songs I listened to over the summer."

Episode 11: Missed Connections

5/3/25. This was the semester finale of AnOnline! There wasn't a formal theme, just songs that I (or Mare) wanted to play, but didn't get the chance to.

Episode 10: Scene

4/26/25. This episode looked at scene culture and music, both from the past (classic scene) and the scene revival of today, sometimes called scenecore. It featured special guest, my friend Mickey (also linked on my friends page), who co-hosts another radio show called Myspace Meltdown, about emo music.

Episode 9: Intern Takeover

4/19/25. This episode was run by my intern (and friend, Mare, who u can find linked on my friends page!), so they got to pick all the songs!

Episode 8: Nightcore and Animation Memes

4/12/25. This episode combined two mainstays of mid-late 2010s fandom...Nightcore remixes and animation memes. The first half of the playlist has some of the most popular Nightcore remixes, while the second half has songs used in popular animation memes.

Episode 7: Fansongs

4/5/25. This episode was centered around late 2010s fandom culture and the music that came out of it: specifically for MLP, FNAF, DDLC, Homestuck, Undertale and Warriors

Episode 6: Epop

3/29/25. This episode focused on pop music with electronic influence.

Episode 5: Epunk

3/22/25. This episode was based on the subgenre of epunk (which kind of isn't a real genre, but whatever) and songs surrounding it.

Episode 4: Vocaloid

3/1/25. This episode focused on Vocaloid music (and related softwares like UTAU), spanning across different genres, producers and voice banks. I even made my own SynthV cover for it (the Teto version of YELLOW).

Episode 3: Industrial

2/15/25. This episode focused on industrial music and its various subgenres: main industrial rock, industrial punk, industrial pop, and industrial rap.

Episode 2: Valentine's Day

2/8/25. This episode aired the week of Valentine's Day, so I tried to fill the playlist with love-related songs, or songs that kiiind of fit a Valentine's vibe.

Episode 1: Introductions

2/1/25. This episode didn't have much of a theme, it was just a debut to showcase the type of music I'd be playing throughout the semester.
